Moving on Uganda!

We have been dying to share the news, scream it from the rooftops and let everyone know about our excitement...and we finally can!

Project Bumwalukani, Uganda is getting a new clinic! For several years now, we have seen the need to expand our clinic and offer additional services and have more space for our current operations. If you have volunteered at Project Bumwalukani, you've probably seen how busy Station 1 is or how we need more space for multiple Station 3s, and we are finally getting that! We're also getting adequate space for our Maternal and Child Health Program, private space for our HIV testing services, and so much more!

Community members and FIMRC staff come together to tell you what a new clinic would mean to Bumwalukani and the outlying areas.

We are thrilled to announce a partnerships with Construction for Change and the 30/30 Project! Through an AMAZING grant, we are building a large, state of the art facility! The Project Manager for Construction for Change is slated to land tomorrow in Uganda and begin surveying the grounds for the clinic.

This is the largest grant and the biggest facility we have built as an organization, so there will be plenty of updates along the way. As the project progresses, we will be sure to keep you updated with photos, stories and information, but for now, all we can say is that we're THRILLED to embark on this journey and expand our services offered in Bumwalukani!
