Introducing the New GHVP Manager, Caitlin!

Hi everybody! My name is Caitlin and I am so excited to be joining the FIMRC team as the new GHVP Manager. I started my journey with FIMRC during college as a volunteer in Peru, and I am really looking forward to helping volunteers going to all of our sites abroad!

I grew up in Georgia, enjoying the long (and extremely humid) summers at baseball games and running through yard sprinklers and the short (and pretty warm) winters drinking coffee and reading a good book. I attended and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a degree in International Affairs and Modern Languages. During school, I got to travel to Argentina for research, intern in DC, write for a foreign aid magazine, volunteer with local refugees, and help out with our FIMRC chapter on campus.

In my free time, I love to cook and bake, write, and listen to music. I am definitely a news junkie, and spend a lot of my mornings reading through the international section of the newspaper. I like rewatching shows on Netflix, riding public transportation, using paper maps instead of gps, and smiling.
