Project Alajuelita hopes to combat economic issues that trouble families in our local communities. Children often have limited educational support at home, so this program will help to develop these resources.
Education is an important issue in our communities. Our patients’ parents typically have a low or very low level of education, which represents a challenge for the children throughout their schooling years. Significant economic difficulties make it impossible for them to pay for tutorials. The support of volunteers would help us provide the possibility of educational accompaniment for the children of our communities. To establish this project we need to purchase equipment, such as two computers, a video projector, a blackboard, and other materials.
