2010-2011 highlights:
- Organized a Fall bake Sale fundraiser on campus to raise money in November and December
- Handed out Thanksgiving coloring cards to children hospitalized at UCSF Children’s Hospital
- Hosted Happy Hour Fundraiser at The Republic Restaurant and Bar in November 2010
- Established an Advisory Board consisting of local MDs and NPs with interest in global health
- Wrote article on the chapter’s Adopt-A-Project, Mobile Clinic in Peru, which was published in the campus newsletter
- Handed out and helped color Holiday coloring cards in December to children staying at the local Family House while receiving treatment for terminal illnesses at UCSF
- Hosted Holiday Bake Sale fundraiser on campus
- Hosted informational session for UCSF medical students, staff, and faculty
- Raised a total of $1309.75 for the 2010-2011 year
- Hosted Happy Hour Fundraising Auction at Peruvian restaurant Bar
- Met with Advisory Board to discuss chapter goal implementation
- Held 3 letter writing meetings to disseminate information to our campus community and aid our fundraising efforts
- Presented informational lunch session on volunteering abroad for credit with free snacks to medical and nursing students
- Organized summer FIRMC charity event at a local venue
