2010-2011 highlights:

• Sent two chapter members to El Salvador.
• Collected donations of vitamins and basic medical supplies to the clinic
• Helped sort through donations from hospitals and clinics, and then packed boxes full of various supplies to send to underserved medical facilities around the world
• Sent a group of 5-10 volunteers on three separate occasions to World Medical Relief, a local  organization that sends unused medical supplies and medical tools all around the world
• Had a partnership with a local restaurant, Lefty’s Lounge, in which customers who made a donation to FIMRC at the door would receive a discount on their menu purchases for that evening. Donations went towards purchasing an EKG Machine for a hospital in El Salvador
• Had a partnership with the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Michigan (MAWM) for an event, “Make-a-Wish Upon A Star Week” in which members made a display of stars purchased by donors to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation, raising about $200
• Held five bake sales, raising about $600. Donations went towards purchasing an EKG machine for the FIMRC El Salvador Clinic.
