2008-2009 highlights:

• Established themselves as the first high school chapter in FIMRC’s history
• Auctioned artwork by local photographers to raise money for their chapter
• Planned several larger scale events for the spring
• Held a “dress down day” where students could wear casual shoes instead of school uniform shoes in exchange for a small donation to FIMRC
• Raised awareness by presenting a slideshow to the entire student body and faculty depicting poverty and child health challenges in the developing world
• Planned and organized their school’s first-ever dodgeball tournament in which they raised money for FIMRC through ticket sales and refreshments
• Raised $530 for the purchase of health education materials for FIMRC’s clinic site in Uganda
