FIMRC requires the purchase of travel insurance by all participants in the Global Health Volunteer Program if your current health insurance policy does not cover you outside the United States; for your protection, your insurance policy must include medical evacuation coverage.

Please do note thatTravelSafe policies are valid only on stays 90 days or less and coverage does not include adventure sports activities.
FIMRC will gladly assist those volunteers with an alternate insurance policy shouldTravelSafe not be appropriate for their travel plans. All volunteers are of course welcomed to book the travel insurance policy of their choice.
