Thank You, Volunteers!

This past spring break, 226 volunteers logged over 10,000 service hours at nine FIMRC project sites around the world. Wow! Year after year, our volunteers continue to amaze us.

You have led countless health education sessions with our diabetic, prenatal, and youth empowerment programs. You have kept things running smoothly at our clinics from greeting patients, organizing the pharmacies, to assisting with patient intake and learning from our incredible field staff. You have built latrines, hosted health fairs, and hiked to the most remote communities to conduct home health visits for those that have no access to medical care. Through your support and volunteer service over the past 14 years, we have continued to expand FIMRC's mission around the world and 2016 is shaping up to be our best year yet!

A huge shout out to the 12 chapters that traveled with us this spring and to Clemson University FIMRC for sharing their video from Costa Rica. They didn't waste a minute of their time at Project Alajuelita!

"I have gained a deeper sense of compassion, community outreach and global health from my time spent with the people there, and I plan to continue mission work with this wonderful organization!" - Elizabeth Combs, Project Restauración, Dominican Republic

We love to hear from our volunteers so be sure to send your trip photos to socialmedia@fimrc.org. Again, thank you to everyone that made this spring break a success!
