FIMRC Welcomes New GHVP Manager

Have you heard? We have a new Global Health Volunteer Program (GHVP) Manager! We miss Anna, of course, but we are SO happy to have Nikos. Without further ado, I'll let Nikos speak for himself.

My name is Nikos Petrides - I've recently taken over the Global Health Volunteer Program here at FIMRC, and am thrilled to be involved at such an exciting time of growth and development in the Foundation's history! 2012 is poised to be a tremendous year for us; all of our project sites are in full swing with volunteer participation and program development, and the future holds promise of expansion - both at our existing locations and beyond!

Whether you are a former volunteer, a parent, a chapter member, a donor, or simply interested in what we do, I invite you to join us in our growth! Travel to one of our project sites! Organize a supply drive! Coordinate a fundraiser! Or simply spread awareness about our mission! In a time when our world is getting smaller, make 2012 the year that you earn your global citizenship, so that together we can ensure our youngest generation a brighter, healthier future.

I'll be reaching out via facebook, our blog, and email in the upcoming days regarding all of the items listed above and much more. If any of these ideas catch your attention and spark your fire, please feel free to contact me directly at missions@fimrc.org! On behalf of the entire FIMRC team, we're so excited for you to be a part of what 2012 has in store!
